Donna J. Hugh

Donna J. Hugh is a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified professional interventionist. Donna attended Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and completed her Master of Arts program at Antioch University, Los Angeles, California in Clinical Psychology.

Donna has extensive experience working in the treatment industry; Clinical Director and Program Director at three different facilities in California and an adolescent treatment program in Maine. She has also facilitated mandatory hospitalizations for emotionally/mentally, critically impaired individuals at three different hospitals in Massachusetts. Donna has also worked as a director in specialized facilities in Boston, Massachusetts for the underserved, unhoused adults, severely impaired adults, and adolescent gangs. Donna has maintained a small private practice and has assisted many individuals with the healthy process of their trauma and personal growth.

For over 25 years, Donna’s professional and personal experience with recovery has enabled her to focus on her passion in confidently encourage families and clients on their healing journey with their own personal recovery. She is excited to be a member of the team at Heather R. Hayes and Associates in the role of Clinical Coordinator and to have the ability to assist in the recovery process.
