Lindsey Forschner

Lindsey is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (KY) with extensive experience working in the mental health field.  She attended the University of Kentucky for both her Bachelor’s degree as well as her Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling where she focused her studies on substance abuse and eating disorders.

Over the past 17 years, she honed her experience assessing, counseling, and helping clients as they navigate the complexities of the larger mental health terrain. Lindsey is passionate about helping whole families heal. She understands the importance of working in teams and including various family and support systems in the recovery process. 

Lindsey’s professional and personal experience of recovery drives her to help families move from a place filled with fear, resentment, and distance to a centered place where they can feel connected, hopeful, and free. She now fulfills this mission through her role as Clinical Coordinator for Heather R. Hayes and Associates. She is excited to be a part of the team which envisions and implements clinically complex and creative plans for families struggling with addictions, eating disorders, mental illness, and behavioral disorders.
