Corinne is excited to join the Heather R Hayes & Associates team after having served as the Clinical Director for The Willows at Red Oak Recovery in North Carolina, a highly regarded women’s dual diagnosis treatment facility she was instrumental in creating and shaping. An experienced clinician with a demonstrated history of working with adolescents, young adults, and families in the mental health care and addiction industry for over 15 years, Corinne has served as a primary therapist, family support specialist, and clinical director in residential and private practice settings. 

Originally from New York, Corinne obtained her Master of Mental Health Counseling from Adelphi University where her passion for, and research on, adventure-based wilderness therapy brought her the Blue Ridge Mountains area to work as a therapist. With a Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Studies from the University of New Hampshire, Corinne has continuously pursued advanced studies in the fields of family systems and human relationships. When working with clients, Corinne utilizes her strong foundation and belief in the power of healing through relationship. Her training is grounded in relational models such as person-centered counseling, emotionally focused therapy, internal family systems, and attachment-focused EMDR. Corinne has facilitated numerous family workshops, family therapy intensives, and trauma healing workshops. She brings to her work with families a deep level of empathy and understanding of the breadth and depth of family systems and dynamics. Corinne believes the personal journey of recovery and healing is a courageous, vulnerable one, and is grateful to provide support and guidance for people on their path toward health.

In addition to her career pursuits, Corinne loves to spend time with her family and friends, and especially enjoys being an aunt to her three sweet nephews. She is an avid sports enthusiast, and has coached and played both volleyball and soccer.
